Terms
The agreement between you and us for using Echofair. Plain language on purpose — a contract nobody reads protects nobody.
Ultimo aggiornamento: 2026-09-01
Who this is with
Echofair is a service of AVGEROS G. CHRISTOS, trading as Dot.360, of Piraeus, Greece (ΓΕΜΗ 173622609000, ΑΦΜ 157126620). "We" and "us" mean that sole trader — an individual, not a limited company; "you" means the business whose account it is. By creating an account you agree to what follows.
What the service is
Echofair captures visitor details at an exhibition stand, sends each visitor an email, and gives you the resulting list. It works offline on the capture device and syncs when a network is available.
By default that email is a confirmation email: the visitor follows the link and that becomes the consent record. Per event you may choose a notice email instead, where the tick at the stand is the consent and the email states that it happened and carries an unsubscribe link. The choice is yours, it is recorded on every consent record, and as the controller it is for you to judge whether the resulting evidence is sufficient for the use you make of it.
Credits, and what happens if you stop paying
- You buy credits. One credit activates one event at the tier you bought.
- Credits do not expire. A pack bought this November covers a show next February.
- An event stays open for 30 days from activation. After that it closes and stops accepting new leads.
- There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. If you buy nothing for a year, your account and every lead in it are still there.
- Each business gets one free Starter event, once, up to 50 leads.
Prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added at checkout at the rate that applies to you. Payment is by card through Stripe; we never see your card number. Invoices are issued automatically.
Refunds
- Unused credits: email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund them.
- A credit already spent activating an event is not refundable, because the event ran.
- If the service fails in a way that stops you capturing leads at a show, tell us and we will make it right — a refund, a replacement credit, or both, depending on what happened.
Your data, and your responsibility for it
The leads in your account are yours. We are your processor for them, we act on your instructions, and we do not use them for anything of our own. You can export everything at any time, and closing your account deletes it.
Because the leads are yours, so is the responsibility for collecting them lawfully. You agree that:
- You will tell visitors who you are and what you will do with their details. The consent text on the form is yours to write, and it is the text stored on every record.
- You will not use the service to collect special category data — health, religion, political opinion, biometrics — unless you have your own lawful basis for it and have told us.
- You will not import or capture data you have no right to hold, and you will not use the service to send anyone unsolicited marketing.
- You are responsible for what your team does with the capture devices you pair.
The consent record is evidence, honestly recorded. It is not a legal opinion, and it does not by itself make any particular use of a contact lawful — that depends on what you tell the visitor and what you then do.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- A paired device can capture leads for the event it is assigned to until you revoke it. Revoke devices you no longer control.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Availability
We work hard to keep this up, particularly during show hours, but we do not promise a specific uptime percentage. The capture station is designed so that our being down does not stop you working: leads are stored on the device and sync later.
We may change or discontinue features. If we remove something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice and let you export your data.
What we are not liable for
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or the consequences of a lead you did not follow up.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Greek law.
Ending it
- You can close your account whenever you like, from the settings page or by emailing us.
- We can suspend or close an account that is using the service unlawfully, or that has not paid for something it owes. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export.
- On closure we delete your data within 30 days, apart from invoices, which tax law requires us to keep.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change; if you would rather not, close your account and we will refund any unused credits.
Law
Greek law applies, and the courts of Piraeus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer rather than a business, this does not take away any right you have under the law of the country you live in. Questions: hi@echofair.app.
